SENIOR SHOW HOUSE INTERIOR DESIGNER

Due to expansion a vacancy has arisen for a Senior Interior Designer to lead, mentor and inspire our design team, and assist the Creative Director with the management and development of the department.

The successful candidates should have the following skills and experience:-

  • At least 6 years’ experience of high-end residential or show house projects
  • Motivational and management skills
  • Ability to inspire trust in clients
  • A comprehensive portfolio of work, demonstrating design flare, creativity and passion
  • Candidates should be commercially aware, with the ability to work within budget and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent conceptual design and presentation skills
  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of furniture, soft furnishings and accessories is essential
  • Strong communication skills are vital and candidates should be strong team players who are able to multi-task, prioritise work and have good attention to detail
  • Flexible approach and ability to work under pressure
  • Candidates must be able to work on all elements of the job from design to installation

SENIOR RESIDENTIAL INTERIOR DESIGNER/INTERIOR ARCHITECT

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Interior Designer/Interior Architect specialising in mid to high end residential projects with individual sales values in the region of £1m – £25m.

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic candidate with excellent client facing and leadership skills. You should be comfortable both working alone, or managing a small team, together with leading a series of projects from concept to completion, there will be the opportunity to grow your team as the business expands.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years post qualification experience.
  • Strong space planning and interior design skills with an emphasis towards interior architecture.
  • Sound knowledge of current trends and interior associated products with good insight towards future styles.
  • Excellent CAD and Photoshop skills are required, we run Microstation therefore experience of this would be beneficial, although not essential.
  • Knowledge of Sketchup, Vector Works, or similar computer programmes, would be an advantage but not a requirement.

EXPERIENCED CURTAIN FITTER

We are looking for experience curtain fitters to assist the installations team with the fitting of tracks and curtains. The job will involve lots of opportunity for travelling across the UK, and we are looking for someone with hands-on experience with tools, with a proactive attitude.

You must have at least one year or experience as a curtain/track fitter for this position.
The ideal candidate will have a hard working attitude, with good eye for detail. Due to early mornings involved, they will also be punctual, trustworthy, reliable and ambitious.

  • Work across home counties
  • Hands-on experience with tools essential
  • Keen attitude
  • Self-motivated & proactive
  • A full driving licence is essential.

JUNIOR CURTAIN FITTER

We require a junior curtain fitter to assist the installations team with the fitting of tracks and curtains. With lots of opportunity for travelling across the UK, we are looking for someone with hands-on experience with tools, and a keen attitude towards learning and developing their skills. Experience as a curtain/track fitter is not necessary as this is a role that will involve training on the job.

The ideal candidate will have a hard working attitude, with good eye for detail. Due to early mornings involved, they will also be punctual, trustworthy, reliable and ambitious.

  • Work across home counties
  • Hands-on experience with tools essential
  • Keen attitude to learn
  • On-the-job training
  • A full driving licence is essential.
