Backstage at Henley Festival 2017

The Henley Festival is a boutique event celebrating the best of UK and international music and arts at a quintessential riverside location in Oxfordshire.

As partners of the Henley Festival, Alexander James were thrilled to be once again commissioned to design and dress the backstage areas of the festival, including the star dressing rooms and the patrons lounge, creating comfortable, luxury interiors for the artists to enjoy.

This year, the festival brought artists of the highest calibre from all over the world, drawing an audience in excess of 30,000 to this magical festival setting. Taking place over 5 fabulous days, from Wednesday 5th July to Sunday 9th July, headlining music artists included international pop artist Jess Glynne, The Pet Shop Boys, All Saints and Goldie. In the comedy genre, acts such as Russell Kane, Seann Walsh and Joel Dommett took to the stage, providing side splitting entertainment among the audience.

“It is once again an honour to have used our interior design skills to support the Henley Festival this year. We strived to create a comfortable space for the acts to prepare as well as relax after the show with plenty of seating areas both inside and out, a bar area for refreshments and some fun rock and roll accessories.” Stacey Sibley, Creative Director
