On Saturday 19th May 2018, Harry and Meghan will be setting off to St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle for their dreamy royal wedding; a day eagerly-awaited and celebrated by us all in Britain and many across the globe.
In honour of this very special day, and as a welcome to our new beautiful princess, we’ve put together a ‘storybook of royal interiors’ – a collection of our favourite luxury interiors fit for our new princess.
1. A Bedroom of Splendour
Imagine waking up here after the royal wedding night… This is a master bedroom of grace and indulgence; with grand, bespoke headboard in luxurious fabric, an elegant end of bed sofa and beautiful bedside tables by Robert Langford in rich solid oak.
Here, the bespoke upholstered wall panels in soft gold leather effect fabric enhance the feeling of luxury in our bedroom design, with each bedside table topped by a descending chandelier.
2. A Glam Room for a True Beauty
Every princess deserves her own dressing area; that special sanctuary where she can retreat and transform herself into the glamorous girl she is.
Peaceful, sophisticated and indulgent, this glam room flows from the master bedroom to the bathroom suite, filled with natural light, florals and rich fabrics.
Crisp and contemporary, this chic glam room is stylish in its compact symmetry, the lighting enhancing the linear beauty.
3. Beautiful Bathrooms
Looking out towards beautiful views of the polo fields, this luxurious spa bathroom would be the perfect place for Harry and Meghane to unwind in our latest country estate manor design.
4. An Entrance to Remember
The new princess needs a royal welcome on entrance to her new home. In our stunning Surrey property design, you are greeted by luxurious furnishings, grand piano and bespoke marble flooring to suit the opulent setting.
Here we designed the exquisite patterned flooring to echo the regal architectural detailing in the rooms – completed by the smoked eucalyptus veneer table by Eichholtz and the dusky-lilac velvet chairs.
5. Palatial Lighting
Setting the scene for the royal occasion, the lighting should be awe-inspiring. Opulent chandeliers cascade down endless marbled stairs in our Knowle Hill Park design, whilst the bespoke artwork sits centrally as a focal point, intensifying the drama and beauty of the entrance.
6. A Place of Pampering
Surely after the royal wedding, the happy couple have earned a touch of spa therapy? Blending gold mosaic tiles and dramatic black marble, we created an ambience of relaxation in our basement spa design, with indulgent champagne gloss loungers by Karim Rashid.
7. Dancing with Your Sweetheart
Every princess deserves a ball… In our private country estate design, a hydraulic floor raises above this swimming pool to create a ballroom. The floor’s geometric pattern is echoed throughout the house, as well as in the wall panel detailing, ambient with atmospheric backlighting.
8. Luxurious Living Quarters
Royal interiors would not be complete without magnificent living areas. In our deluxe former chapel conversion, 45ft high ceilings descend to meet exquisite herringbone real wood flooring and palatial crescent sofas cuddle around a satin nickel Decorus coffee table to transform this impressive building into a warm home.
We dressed this elegant chaise longue in rich Osborne and Little fabric with deluxe silk santeen faux fur throws create the perfect place for a new princess to relax, with statement Porta Romana side tables and lamp.
9. Dining Rooms of Grandeur
Somewhere to share their happy evenings, Harry and Meghane deserve a magnificent dining room of majesty. Crowning our Surrey home design, these satin and crystal Heathfield Roehampton ceiling light pendants crown the luxurious table arrangement, the entrance flanked by two elegant columns.
A towering spectacle of beauty, this courtly dining room supersedes The Chapel nave, brought together by magnificent floral displays and the high gloss ebony macassar dining table by Justin Van Breda.
10. A Glass of Champagne
Every princess needs a place to unwind and relax with a chilled glass of bubbly. This elegantly accessorised shelving acts as a statement feature within our design of this contemporary bar, whilst the trio of upholstered bespoke bar stools in Zinc fabric add a touch of luxury.
This casual spa lounge area is sleek and contemporary in black and metallic hues, offering relaxing views of the swimming area with hexagonal skylight.
11. Timeout Together with a Good Book
Can you see Harry and Meghane here reading a book together? We designed the library of this grand contemporary manor with a neutral palette, subtle accents of colour and gentle textures to balance the strong architectural form.
12. Twinkling City Light View
A storybook romance wouldn’t be complete without that perfect place for a goodnight kiss… Minimalist and modern, we designed this London penthouse apartment to reflect its trendy location and enhance the alluring cityscape views.
