Alexander James Interiors was excited to work on one of its most unique projects in 2016 having been commissioned by The Berkeley Group to furnish and dress The Chapel in Mill Hill. The impressive four-bedroom chapel conversion takes centre stage of the former St Joseph’s college and if it looks familiar, it’s because it has featured in many period dramas, most recently Call the Midwife.
With a brief to transform the elegantly restored building into a turn-key home, Alexander James Interiors created a luxurious scheme to help potential buyers to visualise living in the stunning, yet unusual property. The use of a charming palette of soft greys accented with vibrant teal, together with an abundance of carefully selected bespoke furnishings brings a sophisticated yet homely feel to the large, open plan living spaces.
With a variety of suggested buyers, ranging from musicians to writers and sportsmen to wealthy overseas buyers, Alexander James tailored the bespoke design scheme to cater to all.
The Chapel is being marketed by Knight Frank.
