Alexander James Interiors is a multi-award winning interior architecture and design studio, specialising in luxury private residences, hospitality and commercial interiors. Founded in The Home Counties in 1995, the practice has built one of the most established portfolios within Britain’s most prestigious private estates, having completed more than 35 homes on The Wentworth Estate and over 20 on St George’s Hill. Today, our integrated team brings together interior architecture, interior design, bespoke joinery, procurement and installation, delivering every project with a single point of responsibility from concept through to completion.

Alexander James Interiors Founded in Berkshire
Alexander James Interiors was founded in Berkshire, specialising in luxury show home interior design for leading UK residential developers, establishing a reputation for interior design that helps sell premium homes.
2012
Alexander James Interiors Launches Interior Architecture Services
Alexander James Interiors introduced a full interior architecture service space planning, bespoke joinery, lighting design, kitchen design, bathroom design and architectural detailing extending the practice's luxury interior design offering beyond furnishing into the architecture of the home itself.
2016
Named Among Andrew Martin's World's Top 100 Interior Designers
Alexander James Interiors was named among Andrew Martin's World's Top 100 Interior Designers for three consecutive years, one of the interior design industry's most recognised international honours.
2023
Alexander James Interiors Opens South Kensington Studio
Alexander James Interiors opened a South Kensington interior design studio, strengthening its presence in Prime Central London.

Thirty Years of Alexander James Interiors, Second-Generation Leadership
Alexander James Interiors marked thirty years of award-winning interior architecture and interior design, with Julian Walker appointed Managing Director and Robert Walker becoming Chairman.
