Beautiful New Show Home Launched
a beautiful new show home is launched with celebratory afternoon tea
We recently held an afternoon tea event with developer St James to launch the beautiful new show home at Fitzroy Gate, in Old Isleworth. The development is set within a private gated estate with 3 acres of private parkland and gardens. Complete with lake and fountain it is indeed a lovely environment for the whole family!
Therefore, when we designed this 5 bed show home it had to be a luxurious and super-stylish family home.
The overall palette is one of blue, and orange (its complementary colour). We have combined these colours in varying shades and tones with neutrals and fine dark furniture. The resulting design is for the most part tranquil and luxurious, but with some interesting and unique features.
In the first floor reception room calm aqua combines with plush soft furnishings in neutral shades which contrasts perfectly with the elegant dark furniture. The luxurious dark neutrals continue throughout the bedrooms, with opulent wallpapers and sumptuous soft furnishings. However, the tone changes somewhat on the top floor where there is a “teenager’s” room. Here, the same colour palette of blues orange/tan continues, but the volume is increased! The wall behind the twin beds is a striking electric blue, with complementary shades of orange on geometric print bedcovers. On the walls there are monochrome prints of New York, with the distinctive NY taxis picked out in vibrant orange.
Across the landing the media /entertainment room has a more sophisticated, masculine James Bond theme, but with some light-hearted touches. For example; a black leather chesterfield with red, black and white cushions sits beneath monochrome “Skyfall” posters mounted stylishly in red and black. Contrasting playfully with the red popcorn machine, directors’ chairs and clapperboard!
St James asked us to help them launch the new show home with an afternoon tea event. Consequently the Alexander James Brand Partnership and Events team sprung into action. Firstly we contacted some of our Brand Partners to see if they would like to participate on the day.
We would like to thank the following Brand Partners for taking part:-
- Maddox Gallery– Displayed amazing contemporary art by Mr Brainwash, the Connor Brothers and David Yarrow which complemented our interior design perfectly.
- Maranello Maserati – Loaned us a beautiful Maserati Levante to adorn the front of the house.
- B & O Windsor – We loved the speakers and amazing TV.
- Article White candles – A new partner with divine scented candles.
- Studio Food – As always the food looked as good as it tasted!
Finally, we are very pleased to announce that an offer was made on the show home within a week.
